ACADEMY REFACES ILLUMINATED CHANNEL LETTERS

Academy repaired their illuminated channel letters at the Houston, TX location. The internally lit channel letters reading, “Academy” were 10 feet tall, while the smaller set reading, “Sports + Outdoors” were 30 inches tall. Both sets of letters were equipped with white jewlite trim caps, along with blue and red high performance vinyl laid onto lexan. Academy in Houston, Texas is now equipped with what looks like brand new channel letters, thanks to the professional sign service provided my Brazo Sign co. Repairing channel letter faces can be a tricky task. One reason can be making sure that the newly made faces fit the existing structure already mounted to the wall. ILLUMINATED CHANNEL LETTERS REFACE SAVES MONEY
Another way Academy in Houston, TX saved money, was by refacing their sign instead of purchasing an entire new set of illuminated channel letters. The process starts by creating a trace to ensure the new faces are cut to match the existing structure attached to the storefront. After the faces are cut, new trim caps are installed onto the new lexan. This allows you to then attach the new face to the old structure after the old faces are removed.
